Bay Area Median House Sales: October 2023

Many factors play. a role in individual home values including location, quality of construction, architectural style, condition, curb appeal, square footage, amenities, outdoor space, lot size, views, parking and many others.

Median house sales values are those values at which half the sales occurred for more and half for less. It is a very general statistic that very approximately “summarizes” what is typically an extensive variety of unique home sales across a wide range of sales prices.
